I’m here in Ballyragget and the only thing on display is fifis melons
No pics?
The wife took my phone off me
The northern lights have seen queer sights
but the queerest they ever did see,
was that night on the marge of Lake LeBarge
I cremated Sam McGee.
It was very pink/purple in mid mid West Limerick. No bit of green from where I was.
All the mugs in bed early last night for DiL and we seeing the greatest lights show in a generation.
I’ve been that soldier
My wife picked up my daughter and a couple of her friends from town, they decided to spin out the countryside a small bit to get a look, so they pulled up on the far side of Corbally in a car park, anyway they were only there for a minute or so when another car started flashing the lights at them, so they got out of Dodge sharpish
A great omen for Limerick this year.
Stunning
No sign of perseids meteor shower. Maybe too bright yet.
Does anyone do a bit of the auld gazing?
He got a good glass for six hundred dollars.
His new job gave him leisure for stargazing.
Often he bid me come and have a look
Up the brass barrel, velvet black inside,
At a star quaking in the other end.
I recollect a night of broken clouds
And underfoot snow melted down to ice,
And melting further in the wind to mud.
Bradford and I had out the telescope.
We spread our two legs as it spread its three,
Pointed our thoughts the way we pointed it,
And standing at our leisure till the day broke,
Said some of the best things we ever said.
