Olympic 10,000 final in '92. Infamous race. Richard Chelimo (RIP) was the Kenyan. Boutayeb the Moroccan was lapped and stuck around with Chelimo and Khalid Skah who won it.

Tony was making no bones that he wanted Chelimo to win.

Spot on.

There are a lot of extraordinary performances coming from the Scandinavian countries across a variety of sports recently.

Norway producing the two outstanding runners in the world could just be a coincidence like the way the three Chinese ran away from Sonia.

And a frankly extraterrestrial triathlete from that neck of the woods.

Some cracking racing in store in the National Championships. Sophie Becker has a cracking chance to topple Phil Healy in the 400m. The men’s 100m has a good clatter of lads who are capable of low 10 seconds. RTE televising the most attractive finals live tomorrow evening. Odd times for finals but great to get the TV coverage of it

Great race. She held on well there. Thought Phil Healy was going to sneak it on the line.

Rhasidat got up there did she? Some finish

Heffernan is some fucking stones

We’ve had a few good races here, Molly Scott is a great bit of stuff, thought she had held on.

I’d run this pace myself
