Be nigh on impossible to get tickets.

Ah there’s always a way

The national cross country championships up in Donegal today seemed to be great racing. Sarah Healy, Ciara Mageean, Michelle Finn and Ann Marie McGlynn was the 1-2-3-4 in the ladies’. Darragh McElhinney beat the likes of Efrem Gidey to win the men’s. The MyRunResults social media pages have some good race clips and their app has all the results.

She’s on a great diet

Intersting that a couple of women after running massive PBs out of the blue. Same coach and agent.

That’s hilarious. Both disappear for over a year then come back and absolutely burn it up in their first race. A 2:01 debut marathon

He ran 60’15 for second half. It’s a joke really, not so long ago that Kipchoge couldn’t maintain that with a full pacing team in perfect conditions and now some nobody does it in his first marathon.

With a year in the ether and a dodgy coach.

In saying that, a few of us considering Valencia marathon next year. Must be a very fast course.

Mrs Macs nephew did it in 3:29 today. His prior best would have been 3:43ish. He said it’s ridiculously flat but the heat makes up for it

I think conditions were ok today? Start of December would be ok as most of training out of the way before the weather gets bad. I think there’s a direct flight now too? I didn’t get in to Berlin and don’t think I can motivate myself to do a spring marathon.

Is it easy to get an entry

Ive ran it 3 times, its a cracking course, can get a bit hot though at the end if you are used to Irish weather

Its his savage diet and training at high altitude that done it

Would Valencia be as fast a course as Berlin?
