It’s such a tough discipline. Dutch girl outside her went out very hard. She might have got sucked in by that a bit too much in early stages if she was keeping pace off her. Faded in the home strait.
Laurent Fignon probably lost the 1989 Tour De France because he had a big shock of hair swinging behind him and wasn’t wearing an aerodynamic helmet.
