I was taking 40 winks there on the sofa. Had the dog in the arms and she was nicely cuddled up to me. 20 minutes later she started licking my face. I thought she needed to do her business so brought her out .
But no. After I let her down she promptly hopped into her basket and is now snoozing away.
I’m bringing her back tomorrow. Little shit
I missed this … what a beauty. What’s the name?
I fell asleep on the couch last saturday night …, woke up about 3am and Brady had hopped up and cuddled into me while I was asleep. I was so warm and cozy I didnt wanna go up to bed … You’ve weirdos like @Fulvio_From_Aughnacloy and @Bandage who despises dogs then.
Have you her fully toilet trained already or is she prone to accidents?
Christened her Sullie. An absolute God send to the family
You sound like a man contemplating things … p.s - Keep an eye out for the postman today
Confucius says, never let something that can lick it’s own arse, lick your face
You’ll have to teach her to do a few cute tricks when the fighting kicks off … might defuse things.
Nope all done Phil. If she needs to do her business, she’ll head straight to the back door and whimper until its opened. She even has a particular spot where she prefers to go. Saves having to walk the whole garden picking up shit
Yeah we are. We keep saying we will wait for the youngest to get a little older as we’ve our hands full enough as it is but it is tempting to move for one sooner.
Nice one. Will watch the post
Why are half of us married so?
The rock great taste
Be about 2 weeks of getting up every couple of hours and just putting it outside the back door … they soon learn , depending on breed. You’ll still get the odd accident but if you put in the work for just 2 weeks you’ll reap the rewards
Dont insult the dog
Dropped ya a PM there
About a week, if you’re using treats for when they go where you want them to and plenty of praise.
If they start sniffing the ground inside it’s a sign they’re about to pull the trigger so get them outside then
Our little wan has learned the joy of giving Brady her food … it’s heart warming and infuriating to see … she looks around for him as soon as we put the food in front of her and slips her hand down the side of the high chair dangling the food waiting for him to come take it and roars her head off with laughter when he does … he’s so gentle then as he tries to nibble it from her hand without hurting her … it’s all cute except she’s atin nothing … the best of grub being cooked and given to the dog who is ignoring his own food.
Got it kid
Dont get a little dog for the sake of it being small and thinking it’s less work etc … a lot of those smaller dogs are little shits and have funny temperaments … Often, the bigger the dog the softer and more gentle with kids they are… Every time i’m out walking Brady it’s always the small little shits, usually those white things , that are barking and having to be dragged away …
It’s great to have kids used to dogs from an early age. We haven’t really the space or time for one and my young wan is terrified of dogs.
One of the neighbours had a red setter, a real bouncy energetic one, and when my one was small he jumped on her for a play and knocked her over. Absolutely scared the living shit out of her. Shes been nervous ever since
Too late to change now bud😁
