I can’t take this lad out and about yet, he’s between doses and there is a bit of parvo about locally so been advised to keep him in the garden.
He’s taken to whining at night - up, out, do the business, but he’s still whining. I’ve to sit in the room to settle him - been a long time since I had a pet, usually only had greyhounds for work and more than one so never seen this
Was out for a walk over the weekend and a little scobe walked by me and goes “nice pigeon buddy”. I was ripping for 30 seconds before I had a good laugh at his quick whit. You get very protective of them in a short space of time.
I remember hearing or reading that if a dog is crying at night and you go down to it it’ll only continue doing it and if you ignore it it’ll stop eventually. Although you’d probably have more experience than me.
I have to let him out for piss and shit. He can’t hold it all night yet so he is crying to be let out- he does the business and back into the pen - he has enough room to walk around. I’m not giving him attention just in, business and i’ve to sit down for 10 minutes or so with him to settle him, otherwise he’d be whining all night.
