Iâd drag 5/6 whiskeys out over the course of an evening. The liver gets a nice sharp kick but the stomach doesnât have to deal with the volume issues that pints bring.
I drank a lot of whiskey over Covid. The cans were hard on the stomach.
Slippery slope. I donât touch it now at all.
In fact I rarely drink these days.
Havent had a whiskey after pints in donkeys years. Have a few mates that insisted I take one at the end of the night, but no means no in my latter years.
I wouldnt be right for days if I combined whiskey with pints.
A whiskey would be one unit of alcohol whereas a pint would be two and half, so youâre drinking way less alcohol too.

Got it in one. Weâre staying across the road. Did the Croke Park tour today and rambled around. All including Mrs Moffat were asleep by 9:30 due to a 5:30 wake up! So I took the opportunity to dip across and have a couple.
