Stephens night isn’t the night it was
Some pubs in Dublin suburbia were either closed today or operating off reduced operating hours, 12pm-6pm type affairs. Used to be one of the biggest nights of the year in Wexford & presumably still is.

Culchies is gone home
The pubs in Culchieland were fairly cleared after the United match was over. The modern man would rather be watching Stranger Things with his missus than doing jagerbombs til 2 am. It’s sad in a way.
Even though I’d like to think stephens day is for the horsey set in pubs, in reality the two that I were in was due to lack of soccer during day. Paddy footix is a real thing
