Austin Gleeson Appreciation thread

The rural right wingers have a horrible tendency to engage in whataboutery when they have no argument

ive been around here a while but this is one of the oddest exchanges of fire i have seen on the INTERNET…

The lower end of the manliness scale but it doesn’t take from my enjoyment of the footage overall.

Sad to see a thread that should be dedicating exclusively to celebrating the hurling genius of Austin Gleeson degenerate into a platform for posters to exchange personal insults.

You’ve other idiots then posting videos in honour of Austin that he’s not even in. There are some right thick cunts around here all the same.

+1.Perhaps the Galway nazi clique could use their control-alt [right]-delete buttons on their keyboards to log off and cool down for a while.

Is there any white smoke as regards James Owens’ report?

Nobody knows if @Sidney exists let alone whether he lives in another characters attic.
People need to slow down and breathe. The internet is not for the feint hearted. If you are struggling then opt out and just use up your allocation of likes for a few days until you’ve gathered yourself.

He’s not other than to get called over by referee Dessie O Leary at the end. You get all manner of dipshits who assume it was he who hit Dungarvan no 15 Ryan Donnelly.

He is in the video. He is also part of the excellent commentary. You are unnecessarily tetchy about this.

why did Gleeson lay that fella out in the video?

He has a walk on cameo at the end. You thought you had the great scoop there and you’ve ended up being exposed again as a bluffer.

There is no alternative

Ah no, this is the Ossie Gleason thread and it’s very very very appropriate that a video of a 3 minute riot where he gets a red card should be displayed here.

Its terrific to see such south eastern regional solidarity coming from Wexford to their neighbours in Waterford ahead of the final. There were manly but dignified and fair exchanges here a few weeks ago in the lead up to the quarter final but once over the battle was over on the field the Wexford contributors were most gracious in defeat and @Fagan_ODowd and @anon70480284 were the epitomy of magnanimity in victory.

Apparently its all fine and Ozzie has nothing to worry about.

The finest example of bravery under pressure from a ref since his fellow Wexican John Denton in 1989.

The Kilkenny boys will be seething. Eddie Brennan will probably give some poor divil an extra smack of a truncheon
