Has Lar’s tweet been posted yet?

The Tipperary lads keep going on with this dumb point. They’re supposed to vote on who the best player is regardless of what county they come from.

Getting two players nominated is simply a symptom of success. Didnt split whatever vote there was in 07 when Dan and Ken were nominated (presuming the “journos” had some sort of vote).

Amusing when you look through these awards and see the likes who’ve won them, and the likes who haven’t. It’d convince lads not to get awfully worked up over it.

5 references to vodka in the replies. With Ballyea’s win yesterday Lar must be seething by now.

Obviously Lar has a modicum of fame, so that sort of abuse/bantz is to be expected.

The replies to proper famous peoples tweets are generally saddening for humanity though.

I wouldn’t know :pint:

Is it just me who thinks they have a point?
As regards callanan, I’ve not heard any complaints from him, or from maher.
It’s actually wrong that one of them didn’t get it really.

PM made the very good point that it never really mattered when two KK fellows were nominated. A KK fellow always won out.

It’s just a bit of craic at the end of the day. No need to get worked up over it.

ah its not really wrong, its just one of those things. Remember, these things can come down to popularity contests and at the end of the day, individual awards can be entirely subjective. I’m sure it’d be nice to have for Callanan or Maher, but its really just an adornment to an All Ireland medal.

We may see a lot of this going forward, Kilkenny were so dominant for so long, it was a no brainer than it always went to one of them, but the pack has tightened and teams are closer.

Our pal PM on the ball as usual.

Why is it actually wrong? I could accept subjectively wrong, but actually wrong, no.

A bit of gallery.

Is there not a considerable financial reward also?
