Evidence now that the aircraft systems were deliberately disabled. So focus back on passengers and crew.
And they’re mentioning a further 7 hours flight and Kazakhstan as a possible location.
Pilots home is being searched by police. Hard to understand why it’s taken so long to gather this info - Malaysia have really made themselves look second rate this week.

I’m glued to sky news the last hour, it’s wall to wall coverage of the missing plane. There’s just been a press conference with a statement read out by some stooge. They’re now indulging in idle speculation with lots of innuendo. “A special programm to get you all up to date on it” is penciled in on the channel for 10.30am. They’re now running with the notion that the plane was hijacked, but had they listened to me a few days ago they wouldn’t be arriving at that conclusion only now.
BREAKING NEWS - There’s to be another press conference in about 10mins. Maybe yerman forgot to tell the reporters there are refreshments in another room. I’ll keep ye all posted.
Bluffing cunts. That wasn’t a new press conference they just replayed the earlier one again and tried to pass it off as new.
They’ve got a massive background screen now (like one of those you’d see for the weather forecast) which is a map of some islands around the Indian ocean and there’s a fella stood in front of it pointing at it in a general way with a pen speculating where the plane’s last known location was, but he stresses “he can’t assertain exactly where it was”.

If the plane was hijacked and successfully landed somewhere why hasn’t contact or a ransom demand been made?

Can someone else take over watching the news for latest updates, i had to switch off after they aired a third repeat of that press conference. I’ll likely take over again in a few hours however.
