Flew on them once to Norway, of all places. Their inflight magazine was no comparison to SAS('s), but the flight did leave on time, which SAS would regard as some class of sorcery.
bad news for Ireland, bad news for Shannon, went over to Newburgh a few times with them from Shannon and always go with them to JFK from Gatwick. Always a god few hundred cheaper. A grand airline. Gas the way some lads have a 1960’s vision of air travel in their heads, where everyone wears a suit and gets served champagne
I was coming back from New York on a 737 max at Christmas and I knew there was something not right with them, the power out of them as they ascended after take off was unreal
On the contrary the lad on the radio there this morning reckoned that amongst Norwegians other problems was that the Oirish were gaming the system and not paying for ancillaries. So the base ticket price that he reckoned that Norwegian had priced too low was all Paddy was paying and he specifically referenced the Oirish bringing their own sandwiches onto the plane, which must be a fairly systemic risk if you are flying out of Shannon and Cork.
O’Leary has reprogrammed the Oirish plane traveller’s thought process by gouging for every add on. We expect nothing extra and will pay for nothing extra.
