A good source tells me that the Pilot told JP “they were going down”

Two engines cut out and by some act of god one of them started again.

The same source tells me that if you are going to the Pro Am next year to get your ticket/caps fairly sharpish as the price will increase to €100 soon. According to the website there are 4000 more caps for sale at 50 euro before the prices goes up to 100. They are selling fairly well.

That was a very close call for Limerick hurling

The ticket for JP’s ProAm is a cap that his lackeys can doff to him. Does he throw in the forelock for free?

I am sure we will be well provided for in his will.

Funnily enough but apparently there was some kind of near miss at Lahinch with a chopper collecting (I shit you not) Davy Fitz on the day of the pro-am

@Watchyourtoes Will sneak us all in be grand

Anyone going to Birr today? Should be tremendous fun

What’s going on there? Looking for something to do today. Although I got drenched at the scarecrow thingy in Durrow over the weekend

This crowd were a crock of shit in fairness. Grand if you wanted to travel to the USA with a 12 hour layover in Reykjavik with no meal and only carrying enough luggage to hold a pair of underpants. But otherwise as expensive as the rest.

We had to land in fucking Canada going to new york. Something like 14 hours on the plane.

Funny that somebody from Limerick would object to a stopover, given Limerick people campaigned for years that transAtlantic flights to and from Ireland should be forced to have them

#fakenews I flew with them a few months ago with no stopover. The place we landed near Newburgh reminded me of Waterford Airport, however.

The place in upstate New York?

Yes about a 90 minute bus from Manhattan

I never flew them but was actually looking at going via Providence in a couple of weeks instead of Boston as I’ll be down on the Cape.

They didn’t have stops as far as I know, they just flew to more outlying locations. I wouldn’t put the NY distance as a particular concern as all the airports are a pain transport wise. Certainly it’s a general disadvantage in Boston if you are a tourist as Logan is so convenient.

You have the wrong airline. That was WOW air who’ve gone bust. Two competitors in a year gone from the Irish transatlantic market
