We actually get the ferry forms here too. They appear to be very low but I dont know what they should be at this time of the year.
While no where near normal numbers there is still plenty of rental cars to be seen in South Tipperary visiting the sites.
Further afield in West Cork & Kerry regions seems a decent amount of UK & European reg Camper Vans still doing the rounds.
I fear for the future of aviation. I’ve never seen anything like this. The ash cloud in 2010 maybe, but that was localized and lasted less than a month. This has been 5 months and counting here. Holiday season is coming to a close and we are facing into a winter with no end in sight.

Govt isn’t going to want us travelling any time soon. Probably next Easter at best before we are allowed to move around in meaningful numbers.

They might not want to now but they will soon and theyll have very few options. This place is a ghost town. Ireland’s connectivity depends on aviation. 1 in every 5 jobs in Ireland comes from FDI (source: think I heard it on the radio) and we will get very little of that if aviation goes. Very hard to sell an entire location over a Zoom call
They can make room for the Metro as well in there
