Fair enough. That isn’t just in Airports and public sector - security staff are absolute pricks in the private sector too.

Yes but in England if Johnny who works here 30 years says ok they don’t tear up those rules .

You get a much better class of reggalation on the mainland.

@Batigol , I got a mail there from Ryanair advising turning up three hours before my flight out of Dublin because of delays at security. Is it that bad? I’m flying out tomorrow at 8pm.

Sure land on whenever you want and someone will let you skip the queue, @glasagusban

They’ve explicitly moved from a system of country specific bans to individuals so I think you’ll be fine so long as the Waterford variant doesn’t get picked up in the labs.

I’m heading next Tuesday.

What kind of a test do you need before you can fly. PCR or antigen or either?

I think antigen is ok. Website just says “viral test”

Antigen done by a professional will suffice.

The UK 2 day return test is the greatest cod ever. 12 quid to some website, which sends you an alphanumeric code which allows you to complete your passenger locator form. Three days later, lateral flow test arrives. Take a photo of negative (or positive if you’d prefer) test which could have been done on the cat. Email arrives confirming negative. Sin e.

Carmel, San Luis Obispo, Pebble Beach may be worth tagging to the itinerary.
