Banjogeddon: 2022 Munster SHC Final - Limerick V Clare - June 5th 16.00

It’s the most pointless Munster final of all time.

This is the greatest Clare team I’ve ever seen. We’re fucked. Fucked I tells ya.
I’ll be phoning in a bomb scare at half time

It’s mouth watering

I’m delighted to be alive for it tbh

Two nice additions in fairness.

I presume Galvin will start. Will Meehan be picked over Mounsey? Or Reidy? Have a few options there. Suppose you’d want some impact from the bench too, Meehan possibly offers more impact than Mounsey.

Thomas has long stated he’s not a gambler beyond €10. The guy you’re dealing with here has a long standing history of big bets so it’s very surprising to see him squirm out of it alright.

Peaks and troughs young man, peaks and troughs.

Post flagged

I’d expect it to be Galvin and Reidy.

I think Golden might have more a chance of starting than Mounsey as a direct replacement for McCarthy from the last game between them. But I hope it doesn;t come to pass

Meehan will be held in reserve. Would be a big call to give him his first championship start here

Fella won’t even stake bragging rights over his opinion

Will it not be Malone & Taylor midfield?

SOD, Fitzgerald & whoever is rotated out at HF- Kelly/Duggan/Reidy at various points.

Duggan & Galvin inside together most of the time.

There is no way on earth standards will ever go as high again in either code with the current format/structures.

There’s lads on here who think myself and @BruidheanChaorthainn are talking about the 1990’s when referring to the halcyon days. We’re not, we’re only going back 5 or 6 years ago before they ruined it.

I think most likely it will be Taylor and Malone midfield but I think that if Lohan wants to bring in a bigger man then Golden has an outside shot compared to Mounsey or Reidy. Hopefully he goes with Reidy

Every recession has been the worst ever. And then there’s the next one.

You’ll learn this as you grow older.

The final wasn’t brilliant but the 2018 over all championship was outstanding. Best this century.

The main argument for Limerick appears to be whether to start CON or Mul. Personally, I think it’s CON every day, I think he was a massive absentee the last day considering who else we were missing in attack.

It’s the most Irish thing to just say oh sure it could be worse it’s not that bad.

If people really wanted we could have great hurling and football championships with competitive games.

It was hopeless stuff in 2018.

Wexford met Clare in one of the most forgettable AI Quarter Final’s of all time. There was one man and his dog in Thurles for the other quarter final.

Tipp and Waterford were stone useless and the one Round Robin game hyped up to the last in Ennis on the final day was appalling.

Lads lost their shit because the semi final weekend threw up two draws.

Most People only look at these things through the prism of their own counties.

Some people look at these things with the greater good of the game at heart.
