Barcelona in Trouble

That goes without saying.

I’d say as someone said elsewhere it’s an accounting trick

I’ve always found Pjanic a very good player. He might suit Barca

age profile is a big problem here for Barca

Rakitic is 32
Busquets is 31
Vidal is 33

Arthur and Frenkie De Jong are a good age. They’re replacing one of them with another 30 year old.

Rakitic is also shit, which is a further issue.

It does seem fishy and sounds like a weird move, but I would expect Pjanic to slot in pretty well all the same.

Rakitic is far from shit.

I think he’s terrible. Has added very little in any game I’ve seen him in over the past 3-4 years.

he isn’t an iniesta but to call him terrible is a reach. He’s a very good player. He’s been ever present pretty much since he’s signed for Barca.

Got the winner to keep them in the title race the other day.

Riqui Puig is the future of Barca

never seen him in action. Who’s he like?

That lad Fati looks to have everything required

Ah tbh I only saw him for the first time the other day so I was being slightly facetious but he was class. Midget midfielder in the mould of Xavi/Iniesta

Pique, Suarez and griezzeman must be all in and around the 30 mark as well.

I pointed out last summer griezzeman would be an awful signing.

The biggest issue is Messi.

Very sad for a club like Barcelona that Thiago is running Bayern’s midfield while they are trying to sign a lame duck from juventus.

Pjanic was signed to keep Messi happy.

Where did you get that from? It’s not in the article anyway

Transfer podcast.

Link? I can’t see any mention of this anywhere

It’s a podcast I think it was the Friday one where they discuss Barcelona and juves deal.

I just listened to that section and he says nothing of the sort. It’s all about the financial side of the deal

Keep listening.

I’ll dig it up for you in the morning.
