Tremendious news for real darts fans. Niels de Ruiter is doing fantastic work with the Dutch Darts Federation. With 3,000 entries the Dutch Open is the biggest tournament in the world. It promises to be some event.
No wonder every young child in The Netherlands wants to grow up to play BDO affiliated darts competitions when you see Christian Kist’s dream coming true yesterday. I’m not surprised The Dutch Open is now the biggest tournament in the world. As an aside, here’s a picture from Amsterdam yesterday where 500,000 Dutch people gathered to watch Christian’s final in the city centre big screens:
Must be a bit of freak weather there in Amstersdam their Bando. Middle of winter and not one of the orange cunts wearing a coat. Freakishly bright as well considering it must have been 8 o clock in the evening.

No, that was the scene at 11am. People were jockeying for position from early morning in the unseasonably warm conditions and enjoying the festivities.
Jaysus the clock on the town hall is wrong so. That’s very unDutch altogether. The clockwinder must have been taken along on the tide of Christian Kist hype as well.
That picture is clearly of crowds gathering to support the Dutch national football team at a major event and not the Dutch No. 13 darts player winning the bdo championship.
Funny that, at this moment there’s a crowd of many, many thousands of people singing “We are the Champions” in Christian’s home village of Vroomshoop. Flares being lit by tghe crowd and all. It’s live on national TV in Holland.

I hope they are singing it in Dutch or else the dopey fucker won’t have a clue what they are on about. He’s the first Dutch person I’ve ever seen who hasn’t a word of English.
