Tips for the weekend on the front page of the site. No point in burying them in here when they’re winning every second weekend.

I’ve done another outside bet type one for this evening:
4 Selections Chosen
1 Aberdeen v Dnipro (Backing Dnipro @ 2.47)
2 Aris Thes. v Zaragoza (Backing Zaragoza @ 1.98)
3 Empoli v FC Zurich (Backing Empoli @ 2.47)
4 Sparta Prague v OB (Backing Sparta Prague @ 1.58)

25 Euro returns 450 Euro.

The ones for the weekend look very doable. I’d have a slight doubt about Hearts due to their inconsistency and the fact I thought Caley were unlucky to get beaten by 5 at Celtic last week. Still, looks good value though.

Did the following myself:

Austria Wien v Valerenga: Austria Wien @ 5 - 6
Aberdeen v Dnipro: Dnipro @ 6 - 4
Pacos Ferreira v Az Alkmaar: Az Alkmaar @ 10 - 11
Heerenveen v Helsingborgs: Heerenveen @ 8 - 15

15 europeans returns 201.25 europeans.

I was a bit unlucky with that accumulator last night with 3 of them coming up and Dnipro drawing at Aberdeen. Backing Dnipro wasn’t a stab in the dark either. They comprehensively beat Hibernian in both legs of a uefa cup tie last season and are currently second in the Ukranian league only two points behind Shakhtar after 9 games and having built up a gap on Dinamo Kiev. Henrik Larsson scored for Helsingborgs in their 5-3 defeat at Heerenveen.

In the other games Andrew Johnson missed 2 penalties for Everton last night in their 1-1 home draw against 9 men! Flicked over to the Spurs game last night for 5 or 10 minutes and it made me so glad Celtic won that shoot-out against Spartak - the uefa cup is not the place to be.

I lumped on the accumulator posted on the front page. I heard Aberdeen were unlucky not to be two or three up in there UEFA cup match. Hope they go through though doubt it now.

I’ve been quiet for a while regarding football betting. Still nothin really stands out this weekend so i decided to go with you here rock and also add spurs to win draw no bet @ 8/11 in that. 10 returns 160 i think. Also threw 15 on number villa everton match and man u chelsea match to have 0 or 1 goals in the match. 15 returns 113.

What’s the Villa - Everton bet Gerry? Don’t understand your sentence at all. Who are Spurs playing?

Dundee United were one up but are now losing 2-1 at half time.

Hamburg are one up with twenty minutes left and Hearts are one up at half time.

Heartbreak as Gretna go 3-2 up with 86 minutes gone!

Get your money back by piling it on Scott Brown to score on his return to Easter Road tomorrow.

And just to top things off - Caley’s player/manager, Craig Brewster, fires in a last minute winner against Hearts. I don’t think anyone in the world would have had a Gretna/Caley double and looking at a few Celtic boards there Gretna in particular fooked up almost everybody’s accumulators. A bad day at the office. :-((

Very strange sequence of events there - we’ll bounce back next week.

It’s important not to dwell on these losses. A mate of mine said it’s best to keep piling money on, no matter how much you lose. He’s a lovely fellah actually, an Armagh lad - Oisn’s his name.

Just piled on Scott Brown to score during the 90 minutes and Celtic to win in a 5/1 double.

I bet on the number of goals to be scored in both those matches to be no more than 1 goal. i.e. nil all or a one nil.

Spurs are playin bolton away. Bolton are really bad and spurs have been a bit unlucky in their start to the season. They are7/5 to win and I think that is value.

myself and bandage were commenting the other day on our housemate’s (cesc4) recent run of absolute jamminess in winning ridiculous correct score bets like Arsenal to beat Sevilla 3-0 and other random 3-1 and 2-0 wins for Arsenal that owe fook all to logic / foresight but just plain luck.

i want to dismiss this form of betting completely but today i backed man u @ 5-1 to win by 2 ( a fair punt i thought given Chelsea’s turmoil this week and utd coming into something resembling decent form and having an out and out striker available in Saha). the attractive odds and more importantly the fact that i won means i will probably pursue this foolish urge a litlte longer

over 2.5 in the madrid game is my nap of the week

80th min and rm are losing 1 nil. Nice nap raven!

lay it off geradino

dont follow kick & chase football- how did your bets get on

1-1 – vall just missed a sitter
