BACKTRACK

Ultimately we’re all just walking each other home.

I’d hear them a lot in summer time in the long evenings, unmistakable sound from them. Have seen a lot of little and great white Egrets lately which I hadnt noticed much before.

Once again the evolution of this thread makes me at the same time proud of you all and dreadfully sad.

Looking back, I note it was that wise old owl, @Fagan_ODowd, who turned the thread over to our feathered friends. Chapeau to you sir.

@Fagan_ODowd is a proud misogynist. He doesn’t like women’s sports, or them wearing trousers or having paid jobs. A real piece of work.

Funnily enough @Malarkey once said he remembers the kne missed opportunity infinitely more than the 2248 wimmin he bedded. He said it better right enough

As they say in Limerick.

Just saw this
Hanging me out ta dry ya fecker.

Past is another land though

The swallows are back.

They’re perching on a different wire this year so once again no photo opportunity. I’m raging.

As if this wasn’t a wonderful event in itself I heard the 1st. cuckoo of the season yesterday evening.
Fittingly I was actually in the graveyard at the time - an affirmation that life goes on.
