Did you try turning it to the on position. You probably have it turned off.
I fixed it
Delighted for you
Unreal!
How did you do it?
Started to turn off all the rads, after I’d the 3 rads nearest to it closed up the water started flowing into the cold one.
Pure genius.
For ten years or more there has been a poor computer illiterate plumber waiting for this very phonecall after Treatstones made him feel a complete idiot shortly after buying his first PC. Finally some payback.
Was it the bathroom rad? Always seems to be the bathroom rad that stays cold
My fridge is causing problems again. I think it’s time to give up on it. It’s not keeping things cold, it’s leaking black liquid inside and outside at he front and the back. And the freezer bit is super glued shut because the catch broke and that was the easiest fix.
So I need ed a new fridge. But I can’t figure out if my fridge is integrated or standalone. It’s behind a kitchen cabinet type door but it looks like a normal fridge attached to that door. I’ve attached a couple of photos so people can assist. Thanks.
Integrated is my call. You may have fun getting a good fit for a replacement if you have it a while.
Is the door for the space above long gone off the single hinge?
It definitely looks like an integrated unit.
It’s all one door for the fridge and the space above. Am I misunderstanding something?
No idea how long the fridge is there. It was in the house before I moved in.
A few more photos. It looked to me like a normal fridge door that was just screwed into the cabinet door but maybe that’s just what integrated means.
No I think that’s still integrated. Looks similar enough to mine
Right. Thanks. I’ll set myself a short term goal of acquiring a measuring tape over the next few days.
get the make and model of your fridge and you should be able to get all the measurements from looking it up online. would you trust yourself to manually measure it?
It possibly looks as if the timber door lifts off of the fridge door @Rocko?
Try putting your toe under the timber section of the door to lever it upwards while simultaneously pulling it outwards to see if you can clip it off. You’ll know then how complicated it is.
PS try the App Store for a laser tape measure.
It’s an integrated alright and it can be a hoor to get a replacement depending on the size. DID is your best bet.
