Blue sky has replaced x and twiter

ā€œReportingā€ :joy:

Whatā€™s that supposed to mean?

Itā€™s defo gone really weird since the election

Itā€™s a funny meme which is designed to imply youā€™re a right wing headbanger, which is think is not too far off the mark.

Itā€™ll get a lot weirder, but the word weird will be entirely inadequate as a description.

Weā€™re basically living in mixture of 1984 and a science fiction dystopia now.

No Iā€™m not.

Itā€™s a fact that Twitter suppressed the story regarding Hunter Biden and his laptop. Immediately before an election.

32:30 here. And as you always attack the source anyone provides Iā€™m assuming youā€™ve no problem with one in a video titled ā€œThe Problem with Elon Muskā€

There are a few words or phrases that are a dead giveaway of somebody being a right wing headbanger.

Hunter Biden laptop is one such phrase.

Supporting Trump is another dead giveaway.

Iā€™ve come to the conclusion that itā€™s not possible to have any sort of rational discussion with a Trump supporter because the irrationality required to be a Trump supporter is so great that it precludes it.

I think the phrase ā€œred pilledā€ is very telling. It implies a person who is no longer powered by the mind, by a rational brain, but by a drug.

They might as well be.

Sure even that right wing rag CNN covered the suppression story. Whatā€™s not agreed is who ordered the suppression: was it Twitter because they thought it was Russian interference or was it the feds. Iā€™m inclined to believe the former, but not their bone fides

This is pretty dumb. Twitter is currently everything maga complained about - censorship, imbalance, promoting warped views. But now thatā€™ its promoting the headbangers the ā€œfree speechersā€ are ok with it. Iā€™m surprised more outlets havenā€™t moved away from it. Government and politicians should clearly move off it at this stage.

twitter has always been one extreme or the other. there has never been a middle ground with twitter, and it would be incredibly stupid to impy that it ever was.

Iā€™ve never used twitter but I donā€™t think thatā€™s true. You badly need to lay off the gript

Yep it definitely was.

You used to be able to follow people and that would be it.

Then you got to see stuff if a number of people who you followed liked something.

Since musk took over itā€™s just weird. Youā€™ve two columns one is ā€œfor youā€ and the other is ā€œrecommended for youā€ which is all just nutty far right head bangers but it constantly resets to this bar no matter what.

Dunno what fooley is on about but I guess itā€™s better than the Larry Murphy stuff yesterday.

what a ridiculous response, even by your (admittedly low) standards

Fooly is contending twitter was ā€œextremeā€ in the other direction before musk took it over. He is, of course, wrong.

Art Foley should be renamed Artificial Intelligence Foley as all his opinions are like a right wing Twitter bot.

rattled stage 7, the use of ā€œfoolyā€

when bru is agreeing with you, that should be an indicator to step away

Used to be just failed sports journos and a few decent racing judges.

I always think of fooley when that episode of father Ted is on and the neighbour turns up at the door and says to Ted I hear your a racist now

Art is basically a mixture of David Brent and Alan Partridge without the good lines of either character.
