Twitter is done I think. Itāll plod on for a while but get more and more skeletal and echo chambery. More and more of the sort of bread and butter informative accounts that keep people on Twitter are upping sticks and moving to Bluesky, which is emerging as the āchampionā rival to Twitter. I signed up for a Bluesky account yesterday. Itās the exact same as Twitter in terms of format. Threads which was another putative rival is shit. Mastodon has a shit name and thatās why it wonāt take off.
Blueskyās owners arenāt great people either though and thereās always a risk of the exact same thing happening to it as happened to Twitter.
Musk has achieved his one aim with Twitter though which was to get Trump back in the White House to destroy America from the inside, which he will.
