Moderator Note
Suspected you were on the windup earlier, but gave you benefit of the doubt, but now it looks like you’re deliberately trying to get reactions from the United fans. So yellow for trolling. And its third within a week, let alone the season, so 1 month ban
I replied with the staple - So there’s no room whatsoever for banter on this forum?
Reply-
Literally everyone gets carded for trolling tries to fall back on “banter”, so I’ll give the same answer I always do; there’s a line between “friendly banter” and “trying to rile up people”. “Banter” is a word I despise because trolls try to hide behind it, as a get out of jail free card.
I do not believe you were trying to banter with people. I think you were fishing for a reaction. Its not gone unnoticed by the mods that, for whatever reason, your behavior in the last few weeks has kicked on a notch, with this not being the only example of you looking for a reaction (boards.ie’s Post of the Day giving plenty of examples). So, yeah. I’m not overturning the card here.
Funny how many of them go on to run countries, hold government positions and/or other top jobs - Was it their CV or their defeat over the restrictive regimes they were fighting that helped pave the way?
“Hate speech” on boards seems to compromise suggesting a moderator is a touch heavy handed.
The vast majority are inadequate people who have failed in other walks of life.
A TFK member posted up screenshots from my twitter account before. It had serious repercussions for me professionally but I don’t like to go on about it.
