Typical media (leg) spin building up this story. They were so wide of the mark with their initial reports which, it has to be said, bowled everyone over. Surely that Shields guy will have to resign now but he’ll probably have a cover (drive) story made up. One extra point here is that this now should take away the match fixing doubts and so Ireland’s achievement can get the praise it richly deserves.

Why should Shields take the blame? If a pathologist concluded that Woolmer was strangled what can the police do except investigate. It is their very investigation which has brought about this conclusion.
Anyway I still think Inzy strangled him.
