My grandfather played for Graigue when they got fucked out of Carlow after the battle of Milford.

As a matter of interest my grandfather also played in Carlows first All Ireland the 1913 AIJFC final against Kerry. The report at the time stated that Carlow played well in defeat despite losing 3 players to injury early on. Bloody Kerry were always savages. My own father witnessed the blackguarding of Tommy Murphy by Kerry in the AISFC SF in Walsh Park in 1937.
