Bookmakers and general Money Laundering on the Dark Web

Funny you likened Airton to a cowshed because it was more like this by the end…

Meanwhile I was like this

Cunts did something similar to me before as well.

I placed a bet on dog race, it was accepted, got a call to say the dog had won, went up to collect my bet only to be told, “Sorry we shouldn’t have taken that bet, we werent offering betting from there, here’s your money back”.[/quote]

What relevance has a disclaimer on a website to a bet put on in a shop? I know they have themselves well protected but I’d imagine they are liable here.

A bookie doesn’t have to stand over any bet they make. Obviously they can’t do it all the time, but they welsh on a fair few bets where they are badly caught.

As far as I am aware bets struck in Ireland are not legally binding. I know they brought in legislation in the UK surrounding this but I don’t think there is any in Ireland

Does each shop not have to have its T&C’s displayed on the walls anymore? That was the case 10 odd years ago anyway. Either way, I can’t see them getting their money.

Correct, if you were to place bets on credit with your local bookie you are not legally obliged to pay him

The problem arises when you have poor staff that don’t know what they are doing. Badblokes will probably end up paying this out, they won’t want this sort of publicity.

Anyone else having problems with the betfair site today?

They tweeted earlier that they were having problems.

No but that’s because I don’t use the site.

Seems that the ‘MBB humour’ is starting to become infectious.

You’re a bit agitated today Mac. Cheer up mate.

Wedding preparations can take their toll, we should give mac some rope perhaps.

Wouldn’t call it agitated. More disappointed that the level of banter on the site has dropped below it’s normal high standards. Was inevitably going to happen after the celeb spotting adjudicator poll I suppose.

What for?

Use it however you see fit.

Very poor. Sad in fact.

How so?

Poor taste.

Disgusting comment

Nothing wrong with a little light bondage to add spice to a relationship thats gone stale TRE. Just a suggestion for mac and the missus. Could also help him out with the issue of him being whipped referred to before on here. We’re nothing if not helpful on here.
