Joseph Parker was popped for cocaine on the day of the Wardley fight. Ban incoming.
Hard to fathom with the camps that boxers at this level experience in the run up to a fight. The training, diet, sleep monitoring etc that an athlete asks someone to bring them cocaine. Parker has long been associated with the drug gangs of where he grew, so no great surprise. Especially with the case that he was suspected to have intentionally laundered or transported cash for them.
Maybe it was a trace amount and he came into contact. Either that or he has a big problem to be doing it in the leadup to a fight.
I’m pretty sure he is on performance enhancing drugs tbh. His physique has changed completely in his thirties (for the better). Nice guy though.
