Itās actually not that common an injury in boxing I donāt think. Ricky Burns had gone 12 with Crawford and lost his lightweight belt, creditable showing, Mexican chap broke his jaw early in next fight. Mexican was robbed on cards but I donāt think Burnsā career ever recovered, fought on for years after but was never the same.
Jaysus, thatāll be a tough one to come back from.

Iām reading Jack Doyleās biography by Michael Taub. Its a story as old as time unfortunately. Doyle seems to have been a much nicer man than Mayweather all the same.
