Rogie donning a pair of shorts in Antrim colours.

First round to Rogan, I see him running out of gas before the end here.

Another round there for Rogie.

Rogie down.

Rogie has recovered well since the knockdown.

Rogie is fucked. Fury wins.

Fury seems like an alright sort.

Terrific camaraderie between the two Irish lads there

Chwis Eubank’s son, Chris Eubank Jr is fighting next, don’t think I’ll bother with that however.

Nice homage from Tyson to Jesus Christ there or Christ, Jesus as he referred to him as.

How did the olympic qualifiers go the weekend? Did anyone else make it?

IRELAND’S BOXING HOPEFULS got their final qualification attempt off to a great start in Turkey last night.
Both Joe Ward and David Oliver Joyce took victories on the first day of the AIBA Olympic qualifiers in Trabzon.
European light-heavyweight champion Ward earned a 16-6 win over Sweden’s Kennedy Katende.
Joyce meanwhile saw his opponent, Wales’ Joe Cordina, retired by his own corner after taking two standing counts in the third round.
Ward will today meet home favourite Bahran Muzaffer while Joyce faces Germany’s Arthur Bril tomorrow. Today will be one of the busiest days at the championships for the Irish team with Ward, Ross Hickey, Adam Nolan, Tommy McCarthy and Con Sheehan all in action.

Do they have to win out their weight to qualify?

How many rounds (in the tournament)?

It varies Runt. Some need to win outright but semi final places are enough for others. Hope Ward makes it anyway. He looks a great talent.

Nolan won 14-9 in his fight.

Tommy McCarthy beats Copla Alem, Bosnia & Herzegovina, 12-3 at the AIBA European Olympic Boxing Qualifying Championships in Turkey
