BRECSC/TFKCSC Trip- Celtic vs Aberdeen

Creating lots of chances now. Pity we couldn’t pick Guidetti out there.

Ripping them open here now. Johansen unlucky there.

He’s been involved in all 3 goals now, GMS. Nice finish that. Sky saying he didn’t catch it sweetly, thought that was a nice controlled strike.

I ever remember seeing the pitch so bad?

Stokes for Armstrong who seemed to strain his leg shooting a couple of minutes ago.

Outstanding second half display, could be 6 or 7.

How did we mess that up?

Matthews back to his best.

That was coming. Perfect pull back from Matthews. We’ve really hammered them since the break. Still haven’t been particularly clinical and we were a bit vulnerable looking at the back at 1-0 but having played on Thursday night with 10 men for an hour this is hugely impressive.

Guidetti has been awful since coming in.

GMS has been immense.

Another great chance. Guidetti still looks short on confidence. Not doing anything instinctively and taking too long over his chances as a result.

Agreed on GMS. Terrific.

One Ronny Deila.

Bastick black carded?

Donaghy was the guy doing the initial holding, he is some man for conning the referee, he got his first penalty against Slaughtneill the other week after fouling McKaigue first.

Really enjoyed that. Fantastic recovery from a very sluggish first 45 minutes. The likes of Bitton, Johansen and Matthews were all heavy in their touches and lost lots of individual battles in the first half. They responded really well to completely dominate the second half.

Wasn’t really a poor performer other than Guidetti. Gordon had a couple of sharp interventions, Denayer got his goal, Van Dijk was solid and was doing lots of organising/cajoling/screaming at players early on, Ambrose had a glorious second half. Brown battled for the match and kept winning his fights even when things were going against us early on, Bitton looked classy again in the second half - love his style. Mackay-Stephen was probably our best player, involved in the first 3 goals and put in a few decent crosses that could have led to more. Thought Amstrong was very good again, wasn’t outstanding today but looks like a great addition. Johansen took a few wrong options that will have annoyed @Bandage but he kept going and ran his heart out, won a penalty and scored for the 4th or 5th domestic game in a row. Griffiths looked sharp when he was on, pity he came off because Guidetti looked completely out of touch when he was on.

Outstanding second half display by Celtic. Thoroughly impressive after playing on Thursday night with 10-men for the majority of the game. Bhoys, I was wrong about Johansen.
