Brexit negotiations should not go ahead straight away so people can go away “on holiday” before they start, the chief of Vote Leave has said.

This is unreal, these lads don’t have a fucking clue what to do.

Amazing how in Dave’s darkest hour he can still make Corbyn look like a total mug

It’s disturbing but it’s not surprising. Just look at their press.

Correct. Most conspiracies come to the surface over time, although frequently an extended time as classified material is released and analyzed. For example, there was always skepticism over the Gulf of Tonkin incident in Vietnam, which led to congress authorizing the use of military force without declaring war. It wasn’t until 2005 that NSA documents were declassified and revealed that there was no attack on August 4, 1964. It was a classic false flag incident which directly led to the escalation of the war in Vietnam and the casualties that followed.

On Kennedy’s assassination, its absolutely true much rubbish has been claimed and many books, documentaries and movies made taking advantage of the public’s understandable interest. However, more than 50 years after the event, it is still deeply troubling for many Americans and non Americans. I have read widely on the subject and try and keep an open mind, but am convinced a conspiracy occurred. It is a real enigma, not the killing itself which a child who had just learned to shoot could carry out, such was the perfect target, but the whole circumstances surrounding Oswald.

Here is the interpretation of events in Nov 63 I tend to lean to: The military industrial complex that Eisenhower and Truman in his later years had warned about wanted a nuclear attack on Russia, and Kennedy’s assassination was to be used as the excuse. The military were outraged that they had a commander in chief who was conducting backdoor communications with Khrushchev, when they wanted to bomb his ass in a preemptive strike. They saw a window of opportunity while the USSR’s nuclear capability was still relatively weak. Oswald was a CIA asset, we know this as he was investigated by the SIG (CIA’s Special Investigations Group), which only investigates its own members. He was also on the FBI’s payroll, and every job he ever held after returning from the USSR was set up by CIA or FBI assets. Declassified documents show that he was paid $200 per month by the FBI from early 1962 to the day of the assassination.

Oswald is portrayed as a low level military grunt. He wasn’t, he was a radar operator in Japan at a base that was the CIA’s main base in Asia. He had the highest security clearance, and had access to every bit of top security information on the US Pacific fleet. We are supposed to believe that there was nothing unusual, in the middle of the Cold War, about him being issued a US passport, after denouncing his US citizenship, then defecting to Moscow, and a few years later the same state department paying for his return home to the US, where there is no record of his ever been apprehended or questioned. Mind boggling to say the least, unless of course he was a double agent which the evidence points to.

Oswald’s ties to Cuba and being pro-Castro were carefully orchestrated, that with his prior defection made him an ideal candidate for “the Russians did it” story. Where the plan fell apart I am less sure of, maybe Johnson saw through it, the Warren commission unearthed some troubling evidence such as “Oswald’s” trip to the Russian embassy in Mexico City which clearly wasn’t Oswald, maybe the Russians knew a lot more about Oswald than the CIA were aware of. Who knows. We came pretty close to nuclear war though, of that I am sure.

The best book on the subject is JFK and the Unspeakable, by Jim Douglass.

Nice dig by CBS there on a bit on Brexit

was he a total patsy or the shooter just saying that he was?

I would lean towards him being a psychopath, so in good company with his handlers. Lying to the end. I’d say he was delighted at the opportunity for fame, a bit like Mark Chapman. He got a lot of help though, Kennedy was handed to him like a slow pitch down the middle.

do you think he pulled the trigger though? what about the evidence of the difficulty of making those shots?

Difficult my ass. It was a killing zone. Kennedy’s car was at a crawl when it turned into Dealey Plaza and never sped up until after the third shot. You couldn’t ask for a better target than one moving away from you in a straight line. The last shot was only 265 feet, the south Armagh sniper was blowing heads off from 10 times that distance, admittedly with much better equipment. From the Zapruder film he had almost 9 seconds from the first to third shot. Plenty time and you would expect a marksman to improve his accuracy with each shot.

There really isn’t much compelling evidence of another shooter or more shots, it has all been debunked over the years. “Back and to the left” sounds compelling from a Newtonian physics standpoint, but we’re dealing with a human body in all its complexity.

Osborne: ‘We need a plan’

Osborne: Do I think there’s going to be a post mortem about why the campaign was lost? Of course. We didn’t win.

We need a plan as a country to get ourselves out of this, while respecting the decision of the British people.

We have extensive contingency plans for the financial stability consequences of Brexit … and we spent a long time preparing those plans.

It was not the responsibility of those who wanted to remain in the EU to explain what plan we would follow if we voted to quit the EU.

It must be great to have a leader capable of speaking in public without notes

By the way, Rosena looks a lot better in that video than previous photos I’d seen of her.

The line about rugby football is brilliant.

You will have to take up the game mate

This fact alone should put us well ahead of other big, well serviced, easily accessible, multilingual European cities like Amsterdam & Frankfurt.
