BREXIT thread

All I knew of Neale Richmond before now as that he was big into poppies and the British legion

Boris impression of Churchill.

Close but no cigar.

Thete was a right heifer presenting Newsnight last night. She even had a friesan pattern dress while discussing the possibility of having to cull cattle in the North post brexit.

There’s this little gem on Neale’s Wikipedia page:-

Richmond wears a Remembrance poppy[6] which commemorates soldiers who died fighting for the United Kingdom and British Empire. He stated that he considers the Easter lily “has become offensive”.[7]

He was a columnist at Slugger O’Toole.[8]

He has stated his disinterest in the same-sex marriage issue[9] and mentioned on Twitter his involvement in the Repeal the 8th abortion pro-choice campaign.[10]

Richmond has been critical of Sinn Fein.[11] He is in favour of Ireland rejoining the Commonwealth.

I also see that Neale spells his name “Neale”.

Oddly enough he is the ultimate west brit but is playing a blinder here

Here comes an election.

Boris has the labour party backed into a corner now though. They can’t have a vote of no confidence in him until September and he’ll bring down the Government if he loses it but won’t have the election until after they leave.

An election in the middle of Brexit to scupper any democratic attempt to stop it. Putin would be proud of that stroke.

This appears to be the approach, wouldn’t be impossible to implement some stalling mechanism on the deadline date however. The election will count as a defacto 2nd referendum

The Queen will step in and sort them all out

She’ll have to swith the lights back on first

Another royal sprog around the 28th would do the job. Or maybe a bit I’d scandal. Megan caught shagging James Hewitt or something

Is this because this is what a pound will be worth?

Another great Brexit news story here on BBC 4 this morning.

Lord Wolfson giving out all the secrets of negotiating in business and reckons the best time to strike a deal will be 11.55 on 31/10.
