That could be a problem as they would need to do a deal with other parties like the DUP to increase the majority. Depending on well the DUP do in the Northern Elections but they could return 10 seats go in with the Tories and Johnson would have a majority of 18 and god knows what agreement they would do with the DUP.

So “the loony fringe are the only people with a credible position”

Maybe you should revaluate who the “loony fringe” are, then?

That’s a separate issue — @balbec gets off on this shit… he’s at home right now with a noose around his square head/neck - with the other end tied to a door - house of commons on full blast on tv and he pulling the plum off himself while shouting strainfully - AW-DUR, AW-DUR

I think there’s plenty of time for Johnson to fuck thus up. Punch a Remainer child in the face or something.

Johnson’s family values aren’t tolerable, I can see the Lib Dems taking a very right-wing approach and stealing huge numbers of traditional tory votes.

The Germans (the EU) will fold before October 31. The German economy is in recession and their manufacturing sector is collapsing. Their auto industry is screaming bloody murder about the impact of a no deal Brexit.

Lads on here thinking they are experts on economics based on chats on the dole queue. It’s fascinating to watch.

May made a big mistake in thinking that the 2017 election would be fought solely on Brexit

It turned out to be a very peripheral issue

It will obviously be a much bigger issue in the coming election, but it will be far from the only one

The Tories are now promising the sun, moon and stars, and will have the most ludicrous manifesto in the history of modern democratic politics in Europe

Actual magic money tree economics

Don’t expect them the majority of the UK press to challenge them on it one iota

They are going to have a very tough time in the debates though, Johnson was very poor in the Tory ones and a long campaign could undo him

The Tories are very weak on bread and butter issues

The Lib Dems position is a false one and I expect a lot of soft Lib Dem support to come back to Labour

Gonna be a long nicht ! :popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

What’s this about dole queues?

Jezza will crush Boris skull at the GE

I think the EU are putting tyrannical new health and safety regulations in place about how people queue

Gone will be the days of the good old British dole queues stretching out onto the streets and winding round and round and round

Not as honest brokers, no.

All of this is irrelevant though. SF need to put up or shut up.

If the people of the north vote for SF to abstain then they’ll abstain. If the people in the north want a party to take their seats they’ll vote SDLP — it’s the voters decide what’s what.

And no party has a divine right to rule - FF/FG have no guarantees that they will be in power come next March – if they, and you, are so interested in the north, let them run in the elections and take their seats in Westminster.

If people would like to take some time out of their busy days to do some individual constituency profiles ahead of a presumably forthcoming UK General Election, that would be great

I personally think there’s a very good chance that Jo Swinson will lose her seat to the SNP in East Dunbartonshire

Has any party leader ever lost their seat before?

Nick Clegg went close in 2015 but held on by the skin of his teeth

You have a sick imagination kid.

Well done.

But that is not relevant to the point. SF should and will be asked again if they will take up their seats. If not, then if they will step aside for one election. If not - then of course that’s up to the voters.

This time around they won’t be able to spoof on their manifesto that Westminister is a “waste of time” for getting a good deal for NI so interesting to see their response.

Keep dancing around the point though.

I thought his book was brutal

I’m dancing around nothing - the electorate decide. If SF change their minds I wish them the best of luck — i’m not bothered one way or another - it’s the arrogance of you over looking the electorate that i’m more nauseated by.
