They hated each other.
You’d want to be blind not to see it
I posted up an article about them a while back. Must dig it out.
Simon, while an amazing songwriter, always seemed like a massive dickhead. Garfunkel just seemed like more of an oddball
They did a big tour around 2003/04 and a few more sporadic appearances since together but I think both are retired from touring now.
Paul Simon will be 80 on Wednesday lads.
Lovely bit of cut to that
Pretty shit year for music if I Honestly Love You by Olivia Newton John was getting the Grammy for best song.
I wouldn’t necessarily be using the Grammys as a barometer for good taste
1975 was a particular low point for the Grammys and US music in general I’d say.
You will note in my post above I referenced US music. So Queen, 10cc, ABBA, the Bee Gees etc don’t count.
Yes, I clearly made that distinction in my post
But you got the guaranteed like anyway
Yeah was thinking that. Wonder what the best year in terms of 5 nominated was?
Lennon comes across as a sneery shit stirring cunt in that disappointingly enough
Not sure what you are trying to say there.
I wasn’t disagreeing with you. That’s all, but @myboyblue got his usual boner as he interpreted your post as a smack down, a bully always likes allies
Sorry about that. I see that now. Apologies for any miscommunication.
You have a serious inferiority complex when it comes to me.
