Gway ya chancer
He should have been booked for simulation. Lucky boy to get away with that.
Apart from yours obviously
I cry only for my beloved Laois and Mayo
But in modern football thatās a pen. They are given every week.
Wasnt given when Gyokeres was absolutely cleaned out of it earlier in the season.
Iām only blowing ![]()

Last nightās set of results more or less nailed it down. I suppose itās a change from the previous decade or so but thereās something unlikeable about them. Meath of the late 80/90ās come to mind.
Arsene Wenger must be turning in his grave looking at them
Youād have to say that City and Liverpool have done amazingly to even sustain a title challenge this season as both clubs are in transmission from the previous decade
Far be it from me to argue with the Opta Supercomputer but that seems ridiculous. They are only to all intensive porpoises four points ahead.
The Opta Supercomputers and bookmakers like Paddy Power know it all now. No need for any further discussion and analysis on anything beyond their determination.
Both have spent half a billion in the last 12 months, Both were shorter odds to win at the start of the season.
City win their game in hand its back to 4 with Arsenal to go to the emptyhad. Not that long ago Liverpool lost the league 5 points ahead with 3 games to go.
P power isnt quite as certain. Man city are only 9/2 in his book.
Yes mate⦠the large spending is what happens during a transition ![]()
Both have lost huge players over the last couple of years and are bedding players in. This is called a transition.
Happy to help you understand what a transition is.
Some people are unclear on the whole transition thing
Murderball league full of powerful athletes that are also very competent footballers. Thereās so little space on the pitch now. Teams can run all day. Nearly every team spending 100 mill plus. The overall standard is very high, but there is no great team. That may change depending on what Arsenal do in a Champions League Final. That Wolves team is comfortable mid table 20 years ago.
Games are about smashing the opposition in a duel and hitting them fast on the break with fast ball carriers (with an eye for a pass) and strong off the ball running. Duels, set pieces and being strong in both boxes are where itās at for now. Arsenal (despite being a better footballing side a few years ago), are the best equipped to handle this over a 38 game season, despite being painfully tentative and cautious against any opposition that can remotely hurt them.
The Great players that could overcome this like VVD, Salah and KDB have declined or departed.
Arteta is a great coach, but he has taken the worst (least attractive) aspects of Pep and Klopp and ran everybody over.
