Toby Faletau with a mssive 14 carries today, ahead of the Kearnivore who has been quietly effective. Stuart Barnes saying “Faletau might just have shaded Heaslip”.
5 left and a bad penalty given away when it looked like we might score.

Crucial scrum lost and we’re in a Hail Mary situation now.
What paper do you work for Sidney?
Gats OUT.
Beaten by the Brumbie B team!
:mad::mad::mad:
I will not be silenced any longer Sidney, the Kiwi has shamed an Empire. AN EMPIRE Sidney.
Unacceptable. This match was disgraced when we called up a Japanese dwarf. We needed the brashness of a Chris Ashton and we got the shambles that was a retired midget.
GATLAND OUT.
Sidney , in NO less than 15,ooo words please quickly sum up this game.
Not a word of a lie mate, takes a man from Rugby heartland to sum up a defeat like this so succinctly. Its unacceptable. Can you tell us how the news is going down in the home of Munster Rugby?
I can’t even take solace from the fact that the Loins’ last loss to provincial opposition was 16 years ago - Northern Transvaal on 1997 tour. A winning Series.
Don’t know mate, every rugby fan I know is out in Oz no dounbt still singing the fields in defiance…

The Irish weren’t up to it today.
This defeat is more bitter than a Kiwi after a World Cup defeat. We need to taste it, bite hard on it and suck it up before Saturday.
Then we will unload in a big way on the Aussies.
The Loins locked in a huddle in the dressing room. Geoff Parling laying down the law. We need to see more of that guy. He’s put his hand up in a big way on this tour so far.
I think there might be something said for getting a Geech/Johnno combination in to take over the side before Saturdays first Test. If they don’t move now, it will be too late.
Today was this expedition’s Isandlwana.
We have lost a battle, but we will win the war.
The brumbies without George Smith and David Pocock and most of their first team? How did the Waratahs not trounce this rabble? How?
When will this shit be finished?
A bit of perspective please folks. As British Lions supporters there’s obviously disappointment all round that the unbeaten record is gone and with it the chance to emulate the Invincibles of 1974. Its all about what happens in the tests though. Yesterday in Canberra will be forgotten if the boys (and I expect them to do so) win the test series. Don’t forget the 1971 Lions lost their very first game on tour to Queensland, in 1997 the knifes were out after losing one of the early game to Northern Transvaal. Hardly anybody in New Zealand remembers that on their first Grand Slam winning team tour of the British Isles in 1978, their dirt trackers lost to Munster, four days before the test game against Ireland. Blips like yesterday can happen.
Moderators, can that clown/failed comic Fitzy be removed from the serious rugby discussion that’s going on here.
