God I despise that cringe crap from the Sky Graham Simmons. He’s always at it.

Unbelieveable frontline support for the boys in Wellington from @GeoffreyBoycott and the Red Army.

The home guard will keep the fires burning brightly for the next week. From Merthyr Tydfil to Melrose, from Morden to Moycullen, these islands are well and truly behind our boys.

Magnificent fight back there at the death. Actually suitedthe lions when it went 14-14.

Sexton is much more creative than Farrell at 10. He always seems to have opponents retreating when he’s running with the ball in both hands

True. The Lions seemed to actually think on what they were doing out there.

I always said that Johnny Sexton had moxy.

Big decision for Geoff now to stay out there or come home

No asterix. Discipline is discipline. Rules are there. Refs make calls either way. Staying discipline is the same for a tackle as making the skip pass when its on and what you practiced. Same as missing kicks. Its a bad decision. Decisions matter.

We need a rule similar to the one they have in hockey where a player can be brought on just for a penalty corner before going back to the sideline.

No way in the world Williams gets dropped after today.

Sport is an imperfect mistress.

Ben Te’o’s defensive abilities can’t be transplanted into Owen Farrell and Leigh Halfpenny’s kicking God ability cannot be bestowed on Liam Williams.

Opportunity costs must be weighed in both cases.

I expect Warren Gatland could make a nice few quid from corporate after-dinner speaking in future giving a talk about how CEOs in business can learn lessons about weighing opportunity costs from rugby football coaching.
