Like Alexander the Great crying salt tears.
Loins fans could be crying salt tears here.
This is awful.
I’m worried.

Relief. We’ve got outta Dodge.
It is awful. But completely in line with my expectation. Cannot expect to get off a 24 hour flight and perform a few days later. Facing into a highly motivated super rugby side now it gets harder from here.
A true expression of New Zealand’s culture would be the Maori lads doing the Haka, while the Europeans infect them with diseases and steal their land
Plenty maoris infecting the women of Limerick with diseases since
Nothing can be read into that. Three days off a plane and we did get dragged down to their level. The next two games against Auckland and Canterbury will tell a lot. The 1971 Lions lost their first game of the tour. The only game they lost after that was the 2nd test in Christchurch.
That’s a relief to hear that.
I’m optimistic again.
Real signs of a return to form for T.T. Faletau was the big plus from that game. He’s a class player who’s had a tough year with injuries.
Farrell will start the 1st test at out half. Sexton has played dreadfully for a good two months now. I’d have concerns about how disruptive Sexton could be in the squad if not picked, could be a bit like Will Carling 1993.
Gats lists off 3 Welsh players that impressed him. Couldn’t make it up
In fairness they were 3 of the best 4 players. Kyle Sinckler had a very good game at tight head as well.
Who did he name? Faletau and who else? Webb was decent off the bench
Moriarty was one. Can’t remember the other. Mentioned Hogg too but mentioned the pass
Well the Oirish and Scots weren’t great and you need to be reserved in praising the English .
Sexton didn’t look sharp. Henderson did okay
You probably could mate considering they were the best players on show. All the Oirish fans hate Gatland despite him leading the Lions to their first series win in 16 years
Interesting.
Sexton would not spring to when thinking of example of a “good tourist”
Gatland is a great man, Paddy the Mick never appreciated him when they had him.
