Gats will prefer Faletau at 8. He’ll want a reliable kicker. Probably won’t opt for Biggar.
Can’t see Gatland going with an out half as flaky and unpredictable as Finn Russell. Sexton could be back in the mix again, all the more so for his goal kicking. Owen Farrell’s form has been so poor since the World Cup nearly 18 months ago, he should be under pressure to make the squad.
As things currently stand, Furlong the one certain starter from Ireland. Henshaw, Sexton, Ryan and Beirne would all be in the equation for test selection

Farrell is absolutely fucking useless. A serial loser and specialist in failure unless playing behind an absolutely dominant pack.

I’d play two Irish front row (tadgh and hooker) an other (not English) , itoje awj , lord knows in the backrow, maybe curry plus two Welch, Welch scrumhalf, sexton, biggar or Russell outhalf. Henshae plus one in the centre (not English, either welch or aki), zammit and the south African jock on the wing. Full back jock, Welch or Irish
