I can’t even see the South African variant deterring the hordes of Lions supporters from the fully vaccinated mainland travelling in July. Paddy will probably still be trying to finish off the over 65’s vaccine programme by July.

I think Stander is available for selection. Talupe Faletau should be nailed on to start at Number 8. Billy Vunipola pencilled in to most squad selections as the other Number 8 but his current form doesn’t really merit selection.
