Far trickier out there today. Adam Scott has dropped two shots on the first five holes. Martin Kaymer is going in the other direction as he’s birdied three of the first six, both of them sit at -2.
Tuned into see a bit of Shane Lowery since he was only 2 off the pace, his name hasn’t even been mentioned yet nevermind a bit of TV coverage. It certainly is the british open anyway going from Westwood to Rose and back again with a bit of Scott, Kaymar and Bubba thrown in. They threw up the leaderboard then and passed Lowery’s name out without a mention. I hope Lowery storms to the top of the leaderboard now, mug does british cunts off good and proper.
Who is Lowery?
George Coetzee shoots a 69 to take the clubhouse lead at -5.
Gary Woodland shoots 69 too, there are some decent scores out there. Lowry out of bounds at the 7th and reports on twitter that he hit the buggy that escorted him back with his next shot:eek:
Looks like Biffo’s tournament has ended here.
Two double-bogeys in a row from Biffo. Back to level par.
Adam Scott birdies the last two holes to get in the clubhouse at -3. He’ll have a big say in this.

Ireland’s Fred Daly won at Hoylake in 1947 but we sadly won’t have an Irish winner this weekend.
Storms moving into the area tomorrow with torrential rain forecast. The play will start early tomorrow at 9am with two tee starts. This will be a huge test of McIlroy’s mettle.
Very benign conditions today and plenty of low scores. McIlroy on another level however and he’s five shots clear with two holes left at -15. The organisers did him a huge favour moving the tee times forward.
Darren Clarke and Graham McDowell are on the fringes at -5 and Shane Lowry is -3.
Ryan Moore had a bit of a mare, shooting a 73.
Hope he has better luck in the Oaks later on this afternoon at the Curragh.
Game, set & match.
