3 and a half hour show. Unbelievable for a man of 73.

Is he an Asthmatic?

He is. Sure one of his early albums was called Greetings from Asthmatic Park.

Has he still the knee slide in the locker I wonder?

More like a knee brace at this stage

156 euro for a ticket. Works out at about 40 euro an hour. Savage value.

I think it’s great value for a good seat.

You’d be as well off go to Olympic stadium in Barcelona to see him if you want to combine a city break. Tickets cheaper too. In RDS you have a load of cunts carrying 4 pints of Guinness at a time and doing their best to live up to the Ross O Carroll “sending it” stereotypes.

In Barcelona can get the cable car up to Mountjuïc where the olympic village was based. Olympic stadium is a real throwback too. Great relaxed atmosphere and the magic fountains on the way back down into city after will put the tin hat on the night.

How much are the Barcelona tickets going for?

A general admission standing ticket is €72 in Barcelona. The equivalent in RDS is €131 not including booking fee which is another €7/€8

Springsteen’s best song is Streets of Philadelphia and he doesn’t even play it at his 10 hour self indulgent gigs.
