Got the call up today too. The timing doesn’t work for me professionally or personally so I’m going to see if I can give it the swerve this time. By all accounts, I can.

A happy update. I have indeed a work trip the same week. I went online, filled out the forms to ask to be excused due to work commitments, attached a PDF of my travel plans, and submitted. I heard back by COB that it was accepted, jobs Oxo

Just called up, first time for me. Was planning a work trip the same week but wouldn’t mind getting it out of the way. Reckon if I postpone I’ll be plagued after that.

I had a five line letter from work. That’s all I stuck in. Likewise, got a response in a few hours.
