lord jaysus that long, thats fucking brutal, really I was talking totals In a specific timeframe, although to pick up on your point didnt Tipp go 28 years without one in the “modern era” and 4 in the last 40 years which is comparible to Galways 3 & Offalys 4 in the same timeframe?

Future looking very bright for Kilkenny. Next 15 years could be almost as good as the 15 that have gone by. Proving the detractors who said Kilkenny would be nothing post Henry and Tommy era well and truly wrong. Both have been largely peripheral figures this year. This Kilkenny team is now backboned by Paul Murphy, Richie Hogan, TJ Reid & Colin Fennelly, all in their mid 20’s. These guys already have that crucial insight and know how as to what it takes and how to win in September. Throw in young guns like Joey Holden and Padraig Walsh, who could well have that insight and know how in four weeks time.

Not a hope In Jaysus, what happened over last 12 years or so is unrepeatable, in particular for a county as small as Kk. Reverting back to a 2 perhaps 3 All Ireland per decade county would be more than acceptable in my opinion.

Fair point, they do actually Chip in with one per decade so not nearly as drastic as Galway !
