i have taken to driving out to the High Rock or Middle Rock the last couple of weeks to immerse myself in the sea water after my runs. i see there is a no swimming warning issued for the Velvet Strand for the next three days. Would this also apply to these areas as well?
Short answer. Yes. But the danger involved is fairly minimal.
The issue occurs when there are heavy rains and the excess rain water is released untreated into the sea iirc. As such the untreated water is not a huge threat. The notice is precautionary I think so it’s a just in case thing. Samples are taken regularly and the water quality is generally excellent.
In short. Fuckit you’re grand.

Someone from East Clare as opposed to West Clare you mean.
Syl O’Connor would have a far more “normal”/representative Clare accent than Jamesie
