We have birds in the chimney, it’s quite nice to hear them chirp away at the moment and we can’t hear them over the telly so they are doing no harm.

While its warm now we don’t use the fire but during the winter we would light the fire at the weekend.

When will the birds head south and will we need to clean the chimney before we light the fire?

Yes clean it, there’ll be all sorts of shit clogging it up and you don’t want to suffocate your newborn with smoke
