Can you balance on one foot?

New research has shown that failure to stay balanced on one leg for at least 10 seconds means your health is not in a good place and you’ll more than likely be dead within 10 years… The test is more aimed at the over 60s but balance, or lack thereof, is a great indicator of overall health.

You older guys need to start doing a small bit of muscle work.

Dr Niall Moyna does this test on the Day 1 physical checks on Operation Transformation. Although the show is in danger of being cancelled because people don’t think it’s healthy to shame unhealthy people about their weight and lifestyle.

Got to a minute there on my weaker leg and I wouldn’t be classifying myself as fit at the moment

Amazing how many kids can’t do this if you ask them to close their eyes and do it.

That’s a great one…I’ve often do it for me ankles. It does take a while to master to be fair.

I often thought they should have someone on who is too thin and get them to put on weight and/or bulk up. All the while doing it in a healthy way.

Or walk in a straight line.

Good chance you probably couldn’t do that as a kid either to be fair
