Latest being at Kearys car store Friday
I’ve traded in last 3 hybrid’s in Cahir and Newcastle co Dublin

Langball ( Kerry man) in Kearys the other day nearly had me believing that he was doing me a favour taking my hybrid ( taxed/ nct 2 years etc) off me
Cork car traders I find are v hard to deal with and constantly low ball

How do you know he’s lowballing you? What’s the hape worth in your own opinion?
You’d be better finding a sap to buy it from you leaving you with readies to spend. Back then to your pal in Keary’s and feign interest in some fairly new motor. Enquire the absolute bottom for a cash deal and let’s say he goes €25k you can put on your thinking face and offer him €20k in a take it or leave it tone.
While achieving nothing really it’ll give you a few minutes of vengeful satisfaction….

Is the car you want available for less than 14.5k? I bet pound to penny you’d get it much cheaper in Dublin. If your car is worth 7 then getting 6 in a trade in is ok if the sticker price is 13 for example

tried to trade in a motor several times but honestly twas as enjoyable as a root canal
Whereas in Dublin or Cahir it was easy and painless
And decent warranties
Tbh hasn’t worked that way for me up to now
