Cark, is it under water yet?

Do you pronounce it Cole Kay ?

A church with a double barrell name like Peter & Pauls Church or something. Possibly at the end of Opera Lane.

That’s how you say it, I wouldn’t get upset if some Nordie pronounced it Cole key though

I got a chuckle off that.

This is serious business

I looked it up.
Jim Cashmans

That pub was ruined when they did it up 13 years or so ago

Not a bad low-key place to start a stag though

Surely not, I really don’t think so, Jim Cashmans is at the corner of Paul street and Academy Street,(opposite the Crawford gallery) I was only ever in there once but it wouldn’t have the name as a place that you’d want to go into, tne kind of place northside couples would go into to get out of the northside for a while or people who are going to the opera house and haven’t a clue what else to do (oh wait)

This was the brief:

Want to experience proper Cork, not trendy bars. Has anyone got any recommendations for badly lit, untidy bars staffed by incoherent locals that serve pints of Murphy’s?

The 5th of July 2018 will forever be known as the day @Copper_pipe moved to Cork.

I give it three months and you’ll be saying biy and talking in a sing song.

Don’t mind all that shit. Head straight for “the wash” and drink your brains out for the day

Good luck mate, you’ll love it,
Please don’t say you’re coming home for the carnival though

Half the Drom lads already think they are from Cork so it won’t even take him that long
